Bernice is a Sr. HR professional with over 30 years of experience in the human resources field. Her career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts (now Marriott Hotels) and Hilton Hotels included assignments as Human Resources Director in various hotels in the Southern California Area which includes her most recent tenure of over 12 years of service at the Iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel.

She has a proven record in mentoring and coaching HR professionals committed to providing support in all HR functions (recruitment/selection, on-boarding, training, worker’s compensation and team member engagement). Bernice firmly believes that a partnership between HR and the operational team/managers yields success by minimizing legal risks and ultimately allows businesses to reach their revenue/operational goals.

Bernice holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Labor Studies from Cal State Dominguez Hills. She holds a SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and a SHRM-SCP (Society of Human Resources Management – Senior Certified Professional) and is fully bi-lingual (Spanish).

With over 7 years of experience in the human resources field and 2.5 years of experience as a franchise owner, Kelcey is a Human Resources professional who is passionate about creating positive and productive work environments for employees and customers alike. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from The Ohio State University.

As an HR Manager, she oversaw the HR functions for various Hyatt Hotels across the country, ranging from boutique to mid-size hotels, and for employee groups of up to 500 employees. She was responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, employee relations, compensation, benefits, worker’s compensation, and internal communications. She has also played a key role in hotel openings, takeovers, and renovation projects. Prior to one opening, she successfully hired and onboarded over 300 employees.
As a Franchise Owner, she founded, organized, and operated a family-owned restaurant with 85 employees. Kelcey orchestrated marketing and public relations campaigns to increase brand awareness, streamlined recruitment and onboarding, managed weekly payroll and scheduling, and created employee handbooks, SOP manuals, and training agendas to ensure successful operations.
